DragonBurn rocks
October 26, 2004 on 9:02 pm | In Apple | Add a commentBoth Firestarter FX and AquaBurn could not do the job of burning cue/bin images to CDs. Fortunately, I came across “DragonBurn”:http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/productivity_tools/dragonburnosx.html on Apple software download page. It wrote the images without any fuss. I think I will buy it!

iBook repaired
October 19, 2004 on 6:56 pm | In Apple | Add a commentA couple of weeks ago, I was bitching about Apple and how they “lost” my support ticket, but they seem to have recovered. Indeed, my iBook just arrived, only a week after it was shipped to the repair centre.

iBook down!
October 5, 2004 on 9:41 am | In General | Add a commentThe “iBook”:http://www.apple.com/ibook has not been working for at least three weeks. Two calls to Apple did not yield any result — apparently “UPS”:http://www.ups.com are not as good as they want us to believe. Still, I suppose I was enjoying this interlude without a computer on my lap at home, but watching TV so that I did not do as much as I could have to get it repaired. Anyway, UPS are supposed to collect the iBook tomorrow. We’ll see. Really, I want to complain, for the odd chance of getting a brand new one as compensation.
For those who intend to say that Apple computers are not good, the issue with the iBook is known and is covered by Apple repair program at no cost.
